New Mascot for PCR?

We have had strange sightings of this bird at Walton.

Anyone (Jane) know what it is?

My Texas bird book has the perfect ID photo of this "Yellow-crowned Night-Heron" that is mostly nocturnal with a "wetlands" habitat (ie, Houston anywhere. Ha.) but an "uncommon summer resident in eastern third south to the Guadalupe River." It has a range to SE US coastal regions all the way to Peru and southern Brazil. It can be 24" long with a 42" wing span. It's voice is "aaak." (In case you want to initiate a conversation.)

If I was up at 3 in the morning-I'd probably be so tired I would start talking to it.
